Full size toilet that provides all the comforts of home
Perfect blend of comfort, reliability and luxury

SaniMARIN 48 macerating electric marine toilet plus FREE soft-close Toilet Seat!
Options Include:
Electricity: 12V, 24V or 110V
Important Note: the 110V unit does not have a control panel, due to the electrical limitations - the control panel touch pads technology is designed to only run on 12V or 24V
Product Description: Available in 12, 24 or 110 volts, this "traditional", full-size model offers the comforts of home even when you're at sea. Eco-friendly with a dual-flush mechanism.
Difference between SaniMARIN 48 (110v) and the standard SaniCOMPACT: While the SaniMARIN 48 and SaniCOMPACT are the exact same bowl and motor design, they have one key difference: the circuit board and all the parts of the SaniMARIN 48 are specially glazed and coated with "rust proof" chemicals which help prevent the rusting that would otherwise occur in the humid and moisture intense boat environment. That is why the SaniMARIN 48 unit is more expensive, as the rust proofing of all parts is manual and detailed work that is done as an additional last step on the SaniCOMPACT base model. So the SaniCOMPACT, while seemingly a little cheaper in the beginning, can simply not be used on boats as it's components will rust prematurely
How It Works: Saniflo SaniMARIN Instructional Video
How It Works:
SaniMARIN toilets combine a macerating pump and an electronically activated toilet into a single, compact package:
At the touch of a button on the control panel, waste is flushed down from the bowl into the macerating area situated below.
This area contains both a pump and a macerator. The latter is a turbine with stainless steel blades that swiftly grind the waste matter into fine particles in three to six seconds.
This matter is simultaneously pumped through a standard 1½-inch plastic pipe into a blackwater holding tank, which may be located above or below sea level, for eventual discharge. Thanks to their 10-foot pumping height and powerful horizontal pumping distance of 98 feet, SaniMARIN upflush toilets enable boat owners to locate the blackwater tank (or purification system) wherever desired on board.
Once the toilet bowl is completely emptied, the unit’s s-bend fills with water again. The water level in the bowl adjusts automatically at the end of each flush cycle to eliminate all risk of odors.
This model provides a dual-flush mechanism that sends only a small quantity of water to the holding tank: 0.31 gallons of water for the economical (“Eco”) cycle and 0.58 gallons for the normal cycle. The latter is adjustable to 0.79 gallons.
Installation can be adapted to suit any plumbing configuration and all types of boats. SaniMARIN models operate with either an on-board, pressurized, freshwater system; or with a raw-water system that requires a separate seawater pump.

Essential to install a shower or a sink, SaniMARIN SHOWER Pump recovers grey water on board your boat and provides an ideal solution to reduce the number of hull valves. A very compact unit which can be fitted below floorboards.
Warranty: 2-Year Full Manufacturer Warranty
How It Works:
The inside of the SaniMARIN SHOWER is comprised of a pressure chamber, which starts and stops the unit, and the motor, which drives the pump. When the water enters the SaniMARIN SHOWER, it activates a micro switch in the pressure chamber, which in turn starts the motor. The motor is sealed for life in an oil filled enclosure. A spindle/shaft drives the impeller and therefore the moving parts are kept to an absolute minimum. Water enters the chamber and is pumped away into the sanitary sewer.
The unit pumps the effluent upward to 13 feet and/or 100 feet horizontally (with gravity fall). Once the water is discharged and the water level in the container goes down, the micro switch deactivates the unit until water enters the unit again. A normal operating cycle for the SaniMARIN SHOWERcan be as short as 2 - 10 seconds depending upon the discharge pipe run configuration; power consumption is therefore minimal.
In addition to sinks, the SaniSHOWER will also accept and discharge the waste water from a variety of other sanitary fixtures such as: a shower, a urinal, etc. When adding a shower, a base will have to be constructed. This base should be made out of a 2" x 6" (minimum) or 2" x 8" (recommended) on edge, to allow for the installation of a P-trap and the required 1/4"per foot gravity flow towards the pump unit.
The discharge elbow on the side of the SaniMARIN SHOWER can be rotated 360 degrees to fit any type of installation required. A non-return valve, which comes already assembled on the discharge elbow, prevents back flow into the unit.
This unit has been designed with a vent output on the side of the unit. All plumbing codes require connection to a vent system. Please note that the vent system should be a two-way air vent. It is also highly recommended for the gray water pump to be connected to a Ground Fault Interrupter (GFI) circuit.
The SaniSHOWER is small enough to fit comfortably inside a small cabinet or vanity or even under a raised shower base.
